Disney’s Coronado Springs

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a beautiful, festive resort with its Southwest American/Mexican decor. This huge resort is one of Disney’s Moderate Resorts, and has quickly found a way into my heart! We immensely enjoyed our stay here, there is so much to see and do! Separated into three themed areas, the Ranchos, Casitas, and Cabanas this is a large resort. It is a convention resort, but don’t let that scare you. It is very quiet with plenty of space.

This resort is set on a sparkling 22 acre lake, with colorful hammocks swaying in the breeze just waiting for that perfect afternoon snooze.

The rooms are really comfy, with fluffy queen size beds, a separate vanity bath, and tranquil decor. We chose a standard view room, but there are many different views, including water views, preferred rooms, suites, etc. There are also king size beds available.

There are separate pool areas, the large pool is designed after a 50-foot replica of a Mayan pyramid. Water streams down the massive stone structure into the Lost City of Cibola pool and you can plunge headlong into it riding on the spitting Jaguar Slide. This complex, known as the Dig Site Pool, is also home to the largest outdoor hot tub at Walt Disney World Resort, with room for 22 people!

This resort also has a few surprises and hidden items, some you really won’t expect!

Here you can dine at the unique Maya Grill, grab something quick at the Pepper Market or the Rix, lounge inside the Laguna Bar or Siestas Cantina, or order from the 24 hour room service. The food will not disappoint! We ate Breakfast at the Maya Grill, and it was delicious!

All in all, this is simply a truly magical resort. We will definitely stay here again! Perfect for your next vacation!
